Where is Open Season happening?

Open Season is exclusive to Brisbane, with ticketed events happening at The Tivoli, The Princess Theatre, QPAC and other venues across the city.


When is Open Season happening?

Open Season is on from late May – July 2025.


Who is on the line-up?

The line-up for 2025 includes Skegss, Sigur Ros, Kiasmos, DIIV, Thelma Plum, Kamasi Washington, MonoNeon, Christine Anu, Cloud Control, and so many more. Check out the 'events' section for the full list.


How do I buy a ticket to an Open Season show?

All Open Season shows are on-sale through our website which will take you to the relevant ticketing provider to arrange tickets. For specific ticketing questions, we recommend getting in touch with the venue directly for more information or contacting us at hello@openseason.com.au.

There are a few events in the program that are completely free, and you won’t need a ticket for those. Some of these events may ask you to register your interest so that we’re able to get an indication of attendance numbers and provide you with up-to-date information.

Please do not buy tickets from Viagogo, Facebook or anywhere that is not a legitimate ticketing platform like Ticketmaster or QTix.


How accessible are the venues?

Music is for everyone, and everyone is welcome at Open Season shows. Check out the 'Accessibility' section of each venue's website for information on wheelchair access, dedicated viewing areas, companion cards, and more.

What do I need to bring with me to an Open Season show?

You need to bring to any of the ticketed events your ticket, a valid form of ID (drivers licence, 18+ card or passport) and yourself. Please note that not all of the venues have a cloak room, so what you bring with you must stay with you during the event.

What can’t I bring with me to an Open Season show?

Please do not bring a DSLR camera with you, as they aren’t permitted in the venues. Regarding clothing, as long as you’re not wearing steel capped boots and thongs (shoes), you’re good to go.
