From jam sessions to global stages, Surprise Chef has carved out a cult following with their cinematic soul and infectious grooves. Since their 2017 beginnings, the Melbourne five-piece has toured the world, gained praise from Questlove and DJ Nu-Mark, and even landed a track in a Super Bowl ad.

Fresh from re-scoring the Aussie cult classic Wake in Fright, the band shifts gears with Superb, their most spontaneous and freewheeling record yet. Blending the moody soul of David Axelrod with the punch of Timbaland and The Neptunes, it’s a deep dive into rhythm, texture, and unfiltered joy.
