1tbsp is the electrifying house/dance project from Grammy-nominated Australian artist Maxwell Byrne, also known for his work as Golden Vessel. 

What started as a side project for DJ sets at his Brisbane event series, Sumoclic Nights, quickly evolved into a global phenomenon. With a string of acclaimed releases, including the breakout EP kanashī, his debut album Mosquito Love, and the 2024 standout Megacity1000, 1tbsp has cemented itself as a force in the electronic music scene. His infectious sound has taken him across the world, selling out shows in New York, San Francisco, and Mexico City, and lighting up festival stages like Listen Out, Laneway, and SXSW Sydney.

Now, fresh off a massive North American and Australian tours, 1tbsp shows no signs of slowing down. He’s just dropped Wet Peak Stars, featuring Mexican artist Meth Math, teasing a brand-new EP on the horizon. 

With a signature blend of pulsating beats, euphoric melodies, and a knack for crafting dance-floor anthems, 1tbsp is set to bring the heat to Open Season at The Princess Theatre. Joined by several very special guests in Max’s hometown, this will surely be one for the record books.
